It’s Breast Care Awareness month, so in conjunction with The Irish Cancer Societies ‘Paint it Pink’ campaign, my daughter Pippa and I are again this year running a fundraising event in Clontarf Castle.

Myself and six other Reiki therapists will relax you with a fifteen minute mini Reiki treatment (this, of course, is optional) followed by coffee and cake in the foyer.

There are few families in Ireland untouched in some way by cancer and I’m sure many of you, like myself, have asked in exasperation when a cure will be found. This can only happen with scientific research, and research needs funding.  This is where we come in.

So please don’t just be ‘full of good intentions’. If you can, come to our event, bring your heartbeat with you and donate whatever you can.  It’s all we can do help.
