Reiki Level 1 is the foundation of Reiki.  When this level is completed the student can practice hands on Reiki on themselves, family and friends.  Taking this class strengthens your own life force energy.

You will learn about the History of Reiki and the Reiki Principals.

You will be taught the hand placements in order to give a Reiki treatment to yourself and others.

You will be linked to Reiki. This process is known as the initiation. In Reiki 1 there are four points of initiation.

The initiation will defy the rational mind, and from a scientific perspective, the mechanism for the initiation is unknown.  However, you will feel the Reiki heat, (which surpasses normal body temperature) and pulsations in your hands after it. This is what enables the student to practice Reiki.

An integral part of Reiki 1 and every other level of Reiki is self practice, on a daily basis.

I teach each levels of Reiki  over a week-end from 1030-5.30 each day and the students will both give and receive a full Reiki treatment during that time and will be completely comfortable practising Reiki by the time they leave.

We will meet again within a month for a question and answer session, and to give and receive a Reiki treatment. You will also receive your Reiki Certificate then.
